Meet the breeder

I'm Ashley M., the breeder behind Devil-Dog Shepherds located in Garrett, IN.

Q. & A. with Ashley

  • Why did you start breeding?

We absolutely love Shepherds and always have, my two seniors are 10 this year and I have had them since they were 8 weeks and 12 weeks old. We just decided to restart our program after moving from Arizona to Indiana, we have added 6 studs and 6 breeding females to our pack. All dogs live inside our home, are good with other dogs and people.
  • What makes your program special?

I'm not sure any of us are special, I hope to help better the breed and do my best at raising great dogs
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black seal, sable, black, black and tan, bi-color, isabella, blue, liver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Ashley was awesome to work with and she had the puppy that was the perfect choice for us. We named him Loki and he is just a joy to have, he and my other gsd play together and get along great, he is fitting in perfectly, Loki and my son have bonded and he gets alittle sad when he goes to work but he just comes in to play with Tessa and he is fine. Love him to pieces I
