I'm Jaime H., the breeder behind Diamond H Ranch located in Trout, LA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and ability. Our love for this breed sparked our interest to start sharing puppies with families wanting both the perfect pet and a reliable working dog. We’re dedicated to preserving the breed standard and natural abilities of these amazing dogs.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    With our family being avid hunters, we fell in love with the Catahoula after watching one recover a deer. We then started looking for a puppy for ourselves. They were hard to find in our area with the color and conformation we were looking for so between that and our love for the breed, it sparked our interest to share puppies with families that wanted to experience the same joy.

  • What makes your program special?

    We strive to produce only the finest quality dogs who are easy on the eyes, smart and amazing working dogs. We are dedicated to providing happy, healthy and well-socialized puppies. We love our dogs/puppies and treat them as family and only offer them to the same situation. We work hard so our puppies can leave our home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white merle, red merle, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jaime

Jaime has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $450 non-refundable deposit and between $450 - $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Jaime may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. There was photo and video updates so I could watch my pup grow and see her personality until she was ready to come home.
