I'm Katrina K., the breeder behind Diamond Star Samoyeds located in Phoenix, AZ. Diamond Star Samoyeds is the result of substantial time and research in order to produce beautiful and well tempered dogs. My family began breeding when I was young, and I always loved our Samoyed (Nikki) whom I grew up with. She was incredibly gentle, smart, and sweet as can be! Because of my fond memories of her, I knew I wanted to continue working with Samoyeds. In 2016, I flew to Buffalo, NY to pick up my sweet Maggie (pictured above). She was the founding bitch of Diamond Star Samoyeds. Sassy but sweet, she changed my life forever. She was always by my side. Unfortunately, Maggie developed Cutaneous Lymphoma and it spread rapidly. I lost her after just 9 and a half short months - although it felt like I had her for a lifetime, it wasn’t long enough. Following the loss of Maggie, Piper and Finley were introduced. Piper has the same sass and spunk that Maggie had - maybe even a bit more). She is incredibly loving and enjoys napping on the bed or watching the birds in the backyard. Like many Samoyeds, Piper loved to dig when she was younger - she would love to show anybody interested her excavation projects. Finley, an import and international champion, is Pipers perfect compliment. He is sweet as the day is long - he loves attention but rarely barks. Finley has since obtained his AKC Ch, CGC, TKN and ATT. He is a few points away from his GCh, and we will be working on barn hunt and finishing his BCAT title. He is the laziest boy, but he loves to play in the backyard in the morning and evening with Piper. He loves sleeping in his crate with his stuffed bear tucked under his chin. If you'd like to know more, please do not hesitate to contact me!
