I'm Diane G., the breeder behind Diane Guyton located in Bessemer, AL. Our goal is to produce adorable, affectionate Basset Hound pups that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. Basset Hounds are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated towards achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we are always working to further our education so that we can continue to improve our breeding program.

Why did you start breeding?
We got a female and she needed a friend so we got a male. We are trying to retire so we thought this would give us something to do. The hardest part is letting the baby go to their new home. We want them with family that will treat them like they are their babies.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Diane
Diane has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The deposit is the same for males and females. We only do this so we want sales a puppy that someone wants and so we are not keeping all of them.”
Contract & health guarantee
Diane may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
