Meet the breeder

I'm Monika W., the breeder behind District 12 Kennels located in Princeton, TX. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives. We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to provide each of our puppies with loving homes where they can live happy lives. Most of our dogs do some sort of conformation or performance activity if not both. All of our produtions are health tested before we ever decide on breeding! Then We raise all puppies on Puppy culture and start our loving care while our mamas are pregnant! All puppies will go home on a contract and decisions of a pet, show home, performance, co own or even guardian aren't made until APET evaluations are done at 9 weeks of age. We also expect anyone getting a puppy from us that they sign a contract because we stand by all our babies for life!

Q. & A. with Monika

  • Why did you start breeding?

My sister asked me to join her for dinner at my favorite Hibachi place in 2018, and we got our first co-owned female and the dam to the male in my main picture! And that's where it all began! A couple of years ago, we met our mentor and learned so much. We are both breeders of this fabulous breed! Our mentor has 8 generations, and that's where most of my lines all started!
  • What makes your program special?

I believe that HEALTH and TEMPERAMENT are the most important for American Bullies and are the key components to making the perfect companion breed for any family! They are so versatile and up for anything! I also raise all our puppies on "Puppy Culture" and it is what sets them up for total success, very few American bullies are raised on this program.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include chocolate tri-color, lilac, lilac tri-color, blue tri-color, black tri-color, fawn sable, fawn, blue fawn, blue, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
