I'm Jacquelyn C., the breeder behind Divine K9s LLC located in Lees Summit, MO. All pups from Divine K9s are bred ethically in a family setting. Mates are carefully selected with health, temperament, size, breed standards, and the overall looks in mind. Prior to your pup coming home they will have been vaccinated, dewormed, and cleared medically by a licensed veterinarian.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding simply because I love dogs so much and breeding is a career and hobby that allows me to spend time with animals, while still taking care of my family.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program is special because my breeding dogs are carefully chosen to create the perfect companions for those looking to find their best furry friend in the world. I specialize in small dogs that are naturally loving, loyal, lap dogs. My dogs are perfect for families as well as single individuals looking for the perfect companion. My pups are all raised in a loving, healthy environment.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Chihuahua puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include black and red. Chihuahua puppies include black, black and tan, and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Jacquelyn was very knowledgeable about this breed and responsive to all my questions and concerns. We could totally tell that they care deeply about their dogs! Molly is only 9 weeks old, but she’s so alert, super curious, loving, friendly, and she totally knows what her peepee pads are. All of these qualities and attributes come directly from Jackie’s breeding program.     I got my newest family member Mable Lynn a miniature poodle from Jacquelyn Claerhout. She was amazing through the entire adoption process. My Mable is a healthy, energetic, happy, well balanced, smart puppy. She has a sweet personality with just the right rambunctiousness.
