I'm Diane W., the breeder behind Diwaids Working German Shepherd Dogs located in Roy, WA. I've been breeding, trialing, GSDs for over 40 years, titling more then 20+ GSDs in a variety of sports! I training mobility service dogs, for work& sport. When breeding temp. 1st looks 2cnd. I breed for working dogs, no extreme slope. Top drive, to be with their people, ball drive is 2cnd!

  • What makes your program special?

    The excellent temperament and intellegence of the dogs we bred, we only breed dogs with temperment certifications, and or CGCs, and all must have at least one work or sport title, and of course health testing! I have been breeding training, and trialing German Shepherds for over 40 years, and I'm filled with information and knowledge that I enjoy shareing!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Diane

Diane has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $1,300 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies are sold with full registration. Written contract with guarantees covering, the puppy, you and me! I only breed dogs with working/sport titles and either a TC, temperment test certifications, or CGCs to verify temperment, so that you the new guardian of a puppy have additional proof of parents having good tempermants and intelligence! No co owning, or female breedbacks! AND if my dogs like you not only will I sell you a dog, but will do payments! Puppies come with full puppy packets with, pictures, contract, pedigrees, microchip information and more! Non-refundable, BUT can be transfered to a future litter. Deposits might be higher on Dale's of trained or older puppies/dogs.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
