I'm Jackie W., the breeder behind DJK kennel located in Glenshaw, PA. I extensively plan each breeding to produce happy and healthy puppies that will thrive in their forever homes. My dogs are health tested and the puppies are vet checked by the time they are 3 days old. I take my job seriously, knowing that my puppies will become someone's beloved pet.
Q. & A. with Jackie
Why did you start breeding?
I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I wanted to give back to these breeds by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. I have top quality dogs from the country of origin. My adults are health tested and the puppies are carefully raised so that they can succeed with me and in their forever homes. Potential buyers are screened for the puppies so I can be sure each puppy is going to a wonderful home.
What makes your program special?
My adult dogs are well known in many countries. I don't breed often, because I want each breeding to be well-planned and thought out. This allows me to focus more attention on each individual litter and prepare them for their best possible lives.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
