Domus Invictus German Shepherds

Kali M.

Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Kali M., the breeder behind Domus Invictus German Shepherds located in Kansas. My name is Kali Mitchin and I am a passionate, small-time preservation breeder of health tested and multi-titled AKC registered German Shepherd Dogs, specializing in both long and short (stock) coated West German Show Lines.

Q. & A. with Kali

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding by heartbreakingly learning what not to do. I purchased my first German Shepherd in 2016 - a sweet little puppy I found on Craigslist with no known background or quality care prior to coming into my home. She died (parvo) the very next day. I was crushed, but her death fueled me to learn about responsible breeding and how to do right by these wonderful dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

The dogs in my program are trained and titled by me in many different competition venues. I am proud of the heights we reach as team, and I’m excited to help others with similar aspirations. My goal is to produce driven, active, sporting dogs who bond strongly to their partners and are easy to train in a variety of disciplines while at the end of the day also being phenomenal family pets.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock, plush, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
