Meet the breeder

I'm Lauryn B., the breeder behind Doodles of CT located in Stamford, CT. Our dogs are screened and tested to ensure our pups are free from genetic diseases. We start sensory activities from birth and begin training throughout their first months of development so our puppies are well socialized and ready to be the perfect family pet.

Q. & A. with Lauryn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our chocolate Labs, Easton and Duke. Easton’s time with us was shorter than we had hoped, but he left a lasting impression that guided the path we’re on today. As our family grew, we also wanted to find a way to enjoy the personality of Labs while being mindful of shedding. Our first Labradoodle, Meadow, is a perfect example of that balance and has brought so much joy into our home.
  • What makes your program special?

We’ve put a lot of care into choosing healthy, well-bred dogs so we can raise happy, well-adjusted puppies. Our goal is simple: to share the same kind of joy our dogs have brought to our family with yours. We spent time getting to know your family to help you along your journey to your puppy. We offer time in our home with the mom dog and puppies to bond.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include caramel, apricot, chocolate, cafe, and lavendar. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

So glad I found Lauryn from Doodles of CT. She was great to work with, kept me up to date on Tali’s progress. I picked up Tali from Lauryn’s home and was pleased to find the puppies all right there in her home with their mom and dad. I could tell the puppies were loved and well cared for which was very important to me. The process through Good Dog was simple and easy from start to finish.

Lauryn is one of the nicest breeders I have ever worked with. I always got updates on health and pictures for all stages of Cedar's growth. She even helped guide me through a few things I had forgotten about since it had been so long since I had a puppy. When we met all of the Doodles Family was so welcoming and kind letting me take my time to meet Cedar before driving him home. I couldn't recommend them more!

It was a pleasure working with Lauryn! She was responsive since the very beginning. It was mine and my husband’s first time getting a puppy, and Lauryn answered all of my questions about vet visits, feeding, shampoo, and on and on. Lauryn even made her self available to do a video call so we could put a face to the name and get to see our puppy!
