I'm Kim S., the breeder behind Doodles to Love located in Vinton, IA. We want every one of our puppies to go to a good home and be loved. We breed based on health, intelligence and personality. It is important that the families that get our dogs are willing to invest in them in their health and training and love them as much as we do.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We loved our dogs so much that we wanted to try breeding some puppies. We've gotten a lot of advice from our poodle breeder and close friends who are fellow breeders in the state of Iowa that have larger programs.

  • What makes your program special?

    We plan to keep our breeding program small and in our home so that all of our litters are raised with love, attention, and a conscious effort to have well-mannered and socialized pups.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are cafe au lait. Goldendoodle puppies are apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Kim

Kim has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Kim partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes our guarantee, the first round of vaccinations, deworming and puppy socialization and enrichment. Price includes a $500 deposit and a remaining balance payment due at time of pick up, before taxes and fees. All of our male puppies are the same price and all of our female puppies are the same price.”

Kim may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    First off I am not any way shape or form getting paid for this nor at the time of purchasing our dog Cleta did I know Kim. Now for my review I can’t say enough good things about our purchase of Cleta. I spoke with Kim for a day or two, she thought I was determined. Then we set up a pick up time. We spent 2 hours with Kim meeting Cleta and learning about Kim and her husband and their fur babies. We brought Cleta home and I kid you not she was potty trained in one day!!! No accidents, smart as a whip. She is kind and gentle, and obviously catches on quickly. We have grandchildren and elderly people in our family and she is great with them. We are in training now. Her hearing, sight and smell are spot on and she is not scared of equipment people use when handicap because of that our trainer says she would be a great service dog. I send Kim pictures and last time we went out of town we stopped by so she could see our pretty girl for her own eyes and how great she is turning out to be. Hands down if you are looking for a Goldendoodle Kim and her doodles to love are the best!! 🐾🩷
