I'm Kim W., the breeder behind East Coast Pomskies located in Aylett, VA. It is our goal to produce adorable, affectionate Pomsky puppies that are healthy, well-tempered, and make wonderful companions. We DNA test our Pomsky parents to make sure your new baby doesn’t have or pass on any inheritable genetic diseases. Our pedigree lines come from a long line of well established Pomsky breeders. Our dogs are our companions in every adventure! We decided to start breeding as a way to help other families experience the love and companionship that only a Pomsky can bring into your life. We are proud members of the APKC (American Pomsky Kennel Club) and POA (Pomsky Owners Association) as certified Pomsky breeders.

Several months ago, we first came across East Coast Pomskies, we saw a puppy from their previous litter (Echo-Brinkley) that we thought was adorable, but the timing wasn’t right. Unfortunately, our 14-year-old Golden Retriever health was rapidly declining and needed our attention. Shortly after, she passed away leaving a huge hole in our hearts. Our Husky became extremely depressed from the loss, and I had been looking for a support animal to assist with my ongoing anxiety. So, we decided to join the waitlist for East Coast’s next litter (Echo-Harper). It was the best decision we ever made. Chris and Kim kept us involved throughout Harper’s entire pregnancy, birth, and all of the puppies’ special moments.
The moment Phineas was born, I knew he was mine. But I knew the feeling was mutual when he chose me right back during a virtual puppy play date to three weeks later. That same day, I made it official and chose him out of four puppies (one of the benefits to being first on the waitlist is being able to select your pup before anyone else). From that point on, Kim worked diligently to make sure he was potty trained, healthy, micro-chipped, DNA-Embarked, well behaved, desensitized to all environmental stimuli and socialized with other dogs and cats (important because we have three cats and another dog).
We used the Flight Nanny option to bring Phineas home. The Flight Nanny, who was hand selected by Kim and Chris, did an amazing job getting my fur baby home safely. Upon his arrival, we brought Phineas straight to the vet, who confirmed that he was indeed in perfect health and could not believe how adorable he was.
We have had Phineas home for nearly a week now. He’s an absolute angel. He’s had zero potty accidents (yes at 8 weeks, he came completely potty trained and does his business outside without issue). He became instant best friends with our Husky, who is no longer depressed and is finally smiling again. The cats adore him as well. As for my anxiety, he completely grounds me. He has already been able to sense if I am becoming anxious and tries to intervene all on his own without any specialized training. So, I am planning to train him in several tasks to mitigate my disability and make him my service animal. Right now, we are already working on basic obedience where Kim and Chris left off. He already knows several commands. He is extremely smart and intuitive. He is quiet and sweet. He sleeps through the entire night in our bed without interruption. He loves to be cuddled, and will do anything to remain in my orbit. That being said, he also bonds lovingly with my husband and two children. He’s just perfect. We couldn’t be happier with our new baby! Thank you so much, Kim and Chris for everything you have done. We are proud to be a part of the East Coast family!
To anyone considering an East Coast pup, if a pup seems to be calling your name through that pic or video, trust your gut and go with it. I can attest that you have found a forever friend who will come pre-loved, healthy, and perfect from the most compassionate, reputable, knowledgeable breeder in the field. My recommendation if there are either no available pups or the ones available havent called your name just yet: join the waitlist. You will not regret it.

I've never met a family more dedicated to a breed than this family right here. They screen the individuals applying to make sure they're the perfect fit for their babies. I also greatly appreciate the health assessments prior to sending off. Its very clear that they want nothing for the best for their babies. We're so happy to be a part of the East Coast Pomsky family now. We adopted Miss Daisy, now known as Miss Dolly and she's so perfect. She's so loving towards not only us but all of our other animals as well and so so so smart (sometimes to our dismay), she's learned basic commands so quickly and she regularly outsmarts all of the others in the pack. Thank you so much for helping us find the perfect little girl!
