I'm Brent B., the breeder behind East Texas GSD located in Mineola, TX. We selectively breed only healthy DNA Tested GSDs. We prefer working European lines with solid stature. Our dogs are excellent in every way! We take great pride in our dogs, their health, and their puppies. Each of our dogs and pups is shown lots of love, thoroughly socialized, and trained so that they can excel and thrive in any environment. We strive to Breed Out Disorders that Plague many GSDs. We match our GSDs by there Intelligences , Drive and Temperament. To produce a high quality balanced GSDs.

Why did you start breeding?
We couldn't find a quality GSD. So we decided to breed our own.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are completely DNA and health tested ensuring the healthiest puppies including excellent joint health and temperament.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable, black, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Knox
Knox is a male German Shepherd. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Brent decided to make him part of their program. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
