Elizabeth V.

Breeder of American Hairless Terriers and Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth V., the breeder behind Elcy’s American Hairless Terrier and Standard Poodles located in La Habra, CA. We are a small family breeder of American Hairless Terriers and Standard Poodles in Southern California. I breed only health tested dogs to ensure a happy and healthy puppy for our families. My dogs live in our home with my family and are loved on all day long!

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I fell in love with this breed and want others to have the opportunity to share my love of the breed. I also became friends with someone who was very dedicated to the breed as well and taught me so much and encouraged me to breed my dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

I only breed to better the breed, I don’t over breed my females and I health test all my dogs even if I don’t end up using them. I am very selective on where my pups go, I don’t send them out to families until they are at least 10 weeks old to make sure they are well adjusted and ready to move on.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
