I'm Karen K., the breeder behind Elements AHT located in Mesa, AZ. We’re a home-based breeder of AHTs who loves showing our dogs in the daytime just as much as cuddling with them at night. I breed based on conformation, health, pedigree, and complementary traits. American Hairless Terriers have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.
Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
I recently have gotten into the show community and started showing my dogs in conformation. I have learned a lot through doing this and have found mentors that work with me to perfect my program and help it be the best it can possibly be. I breed to continue my show line and to preserve the AHT for generations to come.
What makes your program special?
At Elements AHT, we produce excellent companions and show-quality dogs. We understand the importance of dog health, temperament, and structure, and every breeding decision is made accordingly. We are also constantly working on improving our breeding program by working with trusted mentors and being a part of the AHT community. It would be my pleasure to introduce your family to one of my beloved AHT pups.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
