I'm Emery Y., the breeder behind Emerald Acres Bernese located in Walnut Creek, OH. We are a small hobby breeding program striving to produce well-socialized puppies from healthy bloodlines that conform to the breed standard. We love our Bernese Mountain Dogs and consider them a part of the family. Our puppy parents are from lines with good genetics and friendly temperaments. Our dogs enjoy barking at our horses, walks to the creek, and making new friends. We also enjoy training them to pull carts.

Emery is everything you could hope for in a breeder. After we confirmed our spot for the litter, we were sent weekly size updates, pictures, videos, and information about how they were growing. When we went down to pick out our puppy, we got to meet both of the parents which was awesome! Our puppy got sent home with a snuggle pup that smelled like his mom, so the first night home wasn’t as scary. Our Otto is just over 6 months old now, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Emery goes above and beyond, and you can clearly tell that he loves his dogs and cares about each and every puppy raised. 10/10!!!

We worked with Emery to purchase our puppy, Chloe. Emery approved our application, and remained in constant contact with us. We weren’t planning on bringing our puppy home until later this year (in a future litter), but we were lucky enough to be contacted by Emery to get Chloe earlier than planned! He was flexible with us on pick up (we live ~4 hours from his location) and we were able to meet our puppy’s parents on our visit!

Emery with Emeral Acres Bernese is an incredible breeder. Before we even got our girl Koda, he was great at sending updates, answering questions, and provided proof of medical testing for the parents when I asked. During the first year of ownership, Emery stayed updated on our pup and was responsive with any questions and concerns. He also does a super cute collage of all the pups from Koda's litter each year on their birthday, which just shows he goes above and beyond! We are so in love with our Koda girl! She was such a great puppy and continues to be an absolutely wonderful dog. She has an excellent temperament, is in excellent health, and provides us with so much happiness and companionship. I constantly recommend Emerald Acres Bernese to anyone interested in a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. If you're looking for a breeder who takes excellent care of both the parent dogs and the puppies, as well as someone who genuinely cares about those puppies their entire lives, you should absolutely reach out to Emery.

Very good breeder... I was able to see the parents and my pup is very well behaved for being so young. The breeder was very easy to work with. I will come back in the future.
