I'm Linda B., the breeder behind Encore German Shepherds located in California. We breed show-quality German Shepherd dogs with a focus on health and socialization. Our females start breeding after around 3-years old and after they have been shown. Our dogs live at home with us and are free to roam around the house and yard.
Q. & A. with Linda
Why did you start breeding?
I love German Shepherd dogs and focus primarily on showing them prior to breeding. We breed our females after they are done showing at around three years old. We work with a co-breeder of about 4-5 dogs with the Kennel name Cantar.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding dogs are tested through Gen Sol for Degenerative Myelopathy to make sure they aren't carriers prior to breeding. All of our puppies are bred from show-quality dogs after they have been shown. We work on training our dogs and provide lots of outdoor space for them to roam and play. Once our puppies have received their vaccinations, we love to take them around town on errands, to the park, and to training classes.
