Evansstadt German Shepherds

Deanna E.

Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Deanna E., the breeder behind Evansstadt German Shepherds located in Waldorf, MD. Our dogs have the proper working drives, stable temperaments, strong character, and a willingness to please their handler. Properly trained, our dogs are able to excel in multiple venues, yet still remain a part of the family. With that in mind, our breeding program focuses on producing dogs that are suitable for work/sport homes and/or active companions.

Q. & A. with Deanna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I'm passionate about preserving the breed and its workability. I've seen nervy GSDs and there is nothing like a well-bred one that has the temperament, drive, nerve strength, and works for the handler.
  • What makes your program special?

I have several different rooms set up that provide puppies with stimulation, little obstacles that allow them to overcome stressors, thus building their own confidence. They're exposed to tons of surfaces, sounds smell, and handled daily. I offer 100% lifetime breeder support, along with 6 months of puppy socializing and obedience training free.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
