I'm Melissa M., the breeder behind Exotic City Pomeranians and chihuahuas located in Newport Beach, CA. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies! We choose healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved dogs my whole life! I have taken many years to learn about breeding and I feel I am very good at what I do! Im very picky where our babies go when they leave us also! Once you get a puppy from us your family and you will have a lifetime of breeder support !

  • What makes your program special?

    When I decided I wanted to breed Pomeranians and chihuahuas I looked locally and couldn't find the quality I wanted to produce. I ended up importing some amazing Pomeranians and chihuahuas from all over the world ! I feel I have really great quality Poms and chis with amazing colors and my dogs are not lacking health or structure ! Small adorable babies ! Great colors , great structure and great fluff !

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies include merle, black, chocolate, cream, blue, chocolate blue, cream and white, chocolate and white, chocolate and tan, blue merle, blue and tan, and black and tan. Maltese puppies are white. Pomeranian puppies include red, orange, cream, black, blue, white, chocolate, orange sable, black and tan, chocolate merle, blue merle, chocolate sable, beaver sable, chocolate and tan, and beaver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between -$350 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    When we decided to get another dog after the loss of our fur baby. We decided to look for an older puppy. Past the very puppy stage. While looking on line at all the beautiful pomeranians we found Melissa from Exotic city Pomeranian and Chihuahuas . When we saw Koda we new she was the one. Melissa went out of her way working with us. We live in Wa. And Koda was in Calif. We made plans to fly to L.AX and meet at airport. Melissa went out of her way to see to it our new fur baby was delivered safe and happy. We are absolutely thrilled with our baby. She is perfect, healthy, friendly. And loves to play. Fits right in on day one. Our joy is back!! Dan and Jan I would recommend melissa From Exotic City Pomeranian and Chihuahuas. When looking for their new best friend.     I purchased the cutest little girl from Melissa. The process was super easy and Melissa was very receptive to the questions I had. We were able to do a virtual visit with our puppy before putting down a deposit. Melissa was very accommodating with meeting us in LA prior to our drive back up to the Bay Area. We had purchased supplies for the puppy, but they provided everything we would need for at least a few weeks if we didn’t prep. All in all we had an amazing experience and love our puppy Daisy so much

    Melissa was fantastic to work with. I purchased two 4 year old pomeranians from her. Their names were Suki and Riley. These dogs are so adorable and loving. These dogs have been raised with a lot of love. Melissa spent a lot of time answering questions about the dogs before I purchased them and before I picked them up. She sent me all of the links to purchase all of the supplies for the dogs. This made the transition to my house easier. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an amazing dog to work with Melissa. I can't put into words what a great experience I had with her and how much I love these two dogs that she let me have.

    I cannot say enough good things about Melissa. I drove from Tempe, Az. and got one of her beautiful little male Poms. He is everything she described and much more. When I had a question she always answered her phone as was there with all the answers. My little Boo, is so very precious, I took him to the vet the next day we arrived home.
