I'm Victoria L., the breeder behind Fair Dinkum Jack Russell Terriers located in Santa Clarita, CA. Fair Dinkum Jack Russell Terriers is an LA County Licensed (3002HB) breeder of healthy, conformationally correct, intelligent JRTCA terriers. Our pups are from DNA health-tested parents to insure they are free from known genetic diseases that affect the breed. 💕They are raised inside our home. 💕.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Once involved with the JRTCA I learned more about the clubs mission to Preserve, Protect, and Work the Jack Russell Terrier. I've spent the last few years learning so much about this special breed. I've been to many trials, seen 1000's of JRT's, and met some very special people who take the time to work on improving the breed and maintaining its standard. I wanted to contribute to this...

  • What makes your program special?

    We only have a litter when there is a specific purpose, such as adding to our working, or breeding, programs. We carefully review pedigrees, focusing on some of the older English bloodlines, and produce pups clear of the genetic diseases known to the JRT. Our dogs are started with ENS, socialization and obedience, and professionally evaluated for both structure and temperament.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include tri-color, white, brown and white, and tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Victoria

Victoria has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a genetic health guarantee, microchip, age appropriate vaccinations and deworming. OFA BAER and OFA CAER testing. Early socialization, and beginning crate and potty training. Deposits are taken after your application is approved and the litter has reached 10-14 days of age. Deposits are applied toward final price of the pup.”

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • JRTCA Registry, JRT Health Registry, Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    My experience with Fair Dinkum was a great one! Victoria was amazing to work with and made a decision like this feel as seamless and smooth as possible! She was very communicative from the beginning and it was clear from the start how very much she cares for her pups and parents! My puppy was already attentive to me and sitting on command when I received her. My little one was also familiar with potty training which made the process a lot easier, too! All good things to say about this breeder and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Jack Russel!

    We are so happy to have Cricket as part of our family - so I’m so thankful for Victoria. When I reached out about a puppy, Victoria was responsive and took the time to answer my non-stop messages. This is my 3rd Jack Russell (over the past 30+ years), and I have to say Cricket is the most well-behaved and sweetest dog. It’s obvious she comes from a good breed line - plus she was well trained by the breeder Victoria. Cricket was crate trained and still Ioves her crate! She was basically potty trained and well socialized too. I feel so thankful! Overall, it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend using Victoria. Not only are her dogs beautiful, they are athletic, sweet, fun and make the perfect family addition. We loved all her puppies. Wish we could have them all! 😊 We are very happy with the overall experience!

    DILLI-Roo is an amazing addition to our family. After quite the search, I landed on the Fair Dinkum Jack Russell Terriers Good Dog page. Victoria's dogs were exactly what I was looking for. I followed for a little bit before beginning the application process. I WAS BEYOND IMPRESSED. Then came time to fill out the application and WOW. I answered each question and when I got to the next question it felt like we were on the same exact page. When I spoke with Victoria she made me feel comfortable and that I was right in my first impression. As time went on I placed my full trust in her to make the right decision for us. I wanted all the sass and a future demo dog. AND DID SHE DELIVER... DILLI-Roo is everything I ever could have dreamed for our family. She's confident, smart, funny, sassy as all get out, and the cherry on top is she is incredibly sweet. Our first nights in the hotel were a breeze. Once we figured out where she wanted her potty patch we were accident free. She was a dream at the airport and on the plane thanks to Victoria beginning the prep work for us. Since we have been home, she has shown so much confidence in our adventures (even managed to steal daddy's job as boat captain). There is no doubt when we are ready for another Jack Russell Terrier we will reach back out to Victoria. I am beyond grateful for her and her care that started DILLI-Roo off on the right path in life.
