I'm Tiffany W., the breeder behind Fairytail Dalmatians located in Sierra Vista, AZ. We breed our dogs with health and temperament in mind. They are a part of our family first and foremost. Our current dogs have great minds and have a competitive streak in them. So wether you are looking for a pet or a dog to compete in the ring we can help you find the perfect companion.
Q. & A. with Tiffany
Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to help produce healthy well-rounded puppies. When I was looking for a pup all I found was two dogs just thrown together without any thought about why.
I want to improve the breed and produce healthy puppies. That way we can disprove stereotypes and get a more positive image for the breed.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised on Puppy Culture. They are handled and worked daily to set them up for success later on in life. Puppies don't have assigned homes til after their BAER hearing test and they are evaluated. This helps us select a great pup for your lifestyle. We also will take back our puppies at any time in their life. We offer breeder support so you never have to go through it alone.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent health testing
Breeder-Reported Testing
Excellent level
Fairytail Dalmatians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Repository, OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
