Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We take care in matching puppies with an appropriate family. You can try to give us specifics like sex and color but in the end, if we do not feel like the puppy would do well in your home after temperament evaluations we will discuss returning deposit or moving it forward to another litter. ”

“Price includes puppies raised until at least 8 weeks, age appropriate vet care, microchip, health certificate, proper socialization, and health warranty. Fully refundable if I can not provide a puppy, transferable to a different litter; half is non-refundable if buyer backs out.”
Amanda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Amanda offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Amanda directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

Anatolian Shepherd Dog
About Kunai
Kunai is a fantastic and watchful guardian of everything we have here from livestock, to kittens, to my children. He is friendly with strangers we allow on the property, and does his job well with people and animals looking to cause trouble. He is always pleasant in public and gets along with everyone. He will not start a fight with another dog but he is not above ending one.
Excellent health testing
Anatolian Shepherd Dog
About Bryn
Bryn is a steadfast guardian who is incredibly in tune with our livestock and is safe with all varieties of stock from chickens to horses and everything in between. She is less tolerant of other dogs shenanigans but is generous in her corrections of misbehavior. She is our head dog of the pack and doesn’t tolerate rudeness but also isn’t going to haul off and kill another dog. She is a fantastic mother and this will be her final litter. She is also amazing with our inside animals and my children and great in public. She loves all people on the homestead and off.

About Bumpy
Bumpy is enormous with very thick bone. He is very sweet and is a fantastic livestock guardian. He was born here and has worked with horses, goats, sheep and chickens during his 5 years. He is unfortunately not registered as his parents were imports from Scotland (mom) and France (dad) and their registrations were never transferred from their country of origin by their owner. Both his parents are fully health tested with excellent results. Bumpy was never health tested as I did not intend to breed him because he is not registered.
Excellent level
Feather’s Glen Anatolians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Anatolian Shepherd Dogs.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
