I'm René & Ashley B., the breeder behind Fino Hounds USA located in Kingston, TN. We are proud ambassadors for the Fino Hound in the United States! We produce top-quality companions with excellent drive, health, and conformation. We are passionate about this breed and been responsibly producing these wonderful dogs for almost two years. We're excited to connect with you!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our family adopted a Fino Hound after we visited Colombia in 2017, allowing us to bring the first of this breed into the USA. We quickly fell in love with her affection towards our children, people, and other animals. We decided we had to help expand these Hounds so more people around the world could enjoy these amazing dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are raised in a state-of-the-art kennel on many acres in the hills of East Tennessee. They only receive the best care and eat top-of-the-line food, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and are all up to date with their vaccines and health care. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the Fino Hound line.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include standard and grande sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include white, red, brindle, brown, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    We had been casually looking a few months ago, and came across FinoHounds, and we all agreed after reading the description and seeing pictures that we would reach out when the boys were ready, as they both have been bitten by dogs previously. The boys were finally ready and I reached out to Ashley. She quickly responded and after several attempts we were finally able to talk about the puppy we had our eye on. Our boys had a list of questions, in addition to mine and Ashley answered each one with patience, and honesty. After she got to know our family better, and what we were wanting, she recommended Coco. We spoke with the boys and told them about Coco, and the first thing they asked is when she was coming home. We paid the deposit and I started working with Rene and Ashley to bring her from TN to KS. After meeting in Martinsville TN, we were able to bring Ms. Coco home, with a toy, dog food, and some delicious eggs! From the start Ashley and Rene have been nothing short of amazing. This was our first time working with a breeder, and they have set the bar high. Not once did it feel like a transaction, or simply “here is the puppy have a nice life.” Their patience and professionalism mixed perfectly with wanting to get to know my family, and making sure we were a good fit as well. Their love for this breed and wanting the best for their puppies is world class. This experience has been nothing short of amazing, exceeded any expectations we had. We are looking forward to bringing another Fino to Kansas! Thank you so much Rene and Ashley for helping us grow our family!

    Ashley and Rene helped me pick the right puppy for our family. I told her what I wanted in a dog (female, very affectionate to people and other dogs, etc.) I told Ashley about two puppies I had in mind, Ginger and Daisy. Ashley told us Daisy would be the best fit for what I was looking for. The breeder drove 3.5 hours to meet me so I could take Daisy, renamed Sierra, home. Sierra had a microchip, immunization records, quality puppy food to start, and a dog toy. The breeder was thorough, honest, and ethical. The owners are incredibly responsible and care deeply about their breeding dogs and the puppies. Sierra, though only 3 months old, arrived potty trained to our delight. Our family is very happy with Sierra, and she's been the easiest puppy I've ever owned. I would recommend not only this breeder but also this dog breed. The breed is very friendly, outgoing, and stranger friendly. Sierra took to our family like she had always been with us. She needed no adjustment and was just a happy puppy.

    They r very experienced in what they do they also r very good at keeping u updated with the dogs & payments. They r also very nice. & as of Harley Tennessee she is doin awesome. She's an awesome fino hound. She will b my husband's service dog. She will b very spoiled. Her first day & night was awesome. She's a snuggle buddy.
