I'm Cherie M., the breeder behind Fionntan Samoyeds located in Lincoln, IL. Our first three Samoyeds (first in 1999) were rescue dogs and I fell in love with the breed. Having grown up on a farm and showing livestock, I wanted a show Samoyed--and bought one as a gift for myself after finishing my PhD in 2007. I bred my first litter in 2010. My program is focused on breeding Samoyeds that are healthy, well-structured, and have outstanding temperaments. The ultimate goal is producing healthy dogs to take the breed forward; the most important thing is that puppies wind up in loving forever homes.
