Q. & A. with Cindy
Why did you start breeding?
Cindy began breeding German Shepherds out of a deep love for the breed — drawn to their intelligence, loyalty, and gentle nature. What started as a passion soon grew into a purpose: raising well-balanced, healthy pups who become devoted family companions.
What makes your program special?
Cindy’s breeding program is intentional and family-focused. She breeds one female at a time, giving each litter her full attention and care. All of her dogs live in-home, never in kennels, growing up surrounded by love and daily life. This hands-on approach helps every puppy develop well-rounded temperaments and become well-socialized, loyal companions for their future families.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test, Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
