Meet the breeder
I'm Robert Z., the breeder behind Floppy Ears Farm located in Carleton, MI. All of our dogs live IN our home as to the puppies. We only have the pups professionally vetted. They are played with by our children and our other animals. The pup's parents are our PETS first and foremost and we treat them as such. All pups come with a health guarantee, microchipped and shots.

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with Basset Hound's and we wanted to promote the breed.What makes your program special?
We do NOT cut corners. No "over the counter" medicine, only what the vet gives them. Pups live IN our home NEVER a garage, basement or barn. They are played with by our children and other animals. We do our best to acclimate the pups to anything they may encounter. We clip their nails weekly, work on potty training and introduce them to household noises. We have a NO shelter contract.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Robert
Robert has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $150 deposit and between $600 - $1,350 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“CKC are 750; AKC are 1100; ACK Blue's are 1500 All dogs come with their first shots and 2 dewormings, CKC/AKC paperwork, Microchipped, A toy from their liter, a homemade gift and more! Refundable deposit if we are unable to provide the sex and color pattern (Black/tan, Tri-Color, Red/White, etc) that you specify.”
Contract & health guarantee
Robert may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Butter is a loving but timid AKC dame hailing from Wisconsin. She is a bit shy but she warms up quick. She LOVES sitting on laps (and she will not take no for an answer!) She gets along with the other dogs in her pack. She has been genetically tested. This will be her and Bookers 5th (and final) litter together!

Booker is a VERY energetic AKC/CKC boy hailing from West Virginia. He has a wonderful temperament. He always wants to be the center of attention and loves his humans! He gets along with the other dogs in his pack. He has been genetically tested with no issues. Booker has sired over 10 litters and all of his pups are healthy, happy and thriving!

Basil is a female Basset Hound. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Robert decided to make her part of their program. Robert has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
