I'm Alexis S., the breeder behind Florida Anatolian Shepherds located in Drop Off To You, FL. Our dogs are bred first and foremost with a guardian temperament in mind. They are raised around children and animals to ensure they are loyal companions to those they protect. They snuggle and cuddle just as hard as they bark and patrol. They will be your or your livestock's best friend!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We first needed a Livestock Guardian Dog once we got a sheep farm and realized we had a coyote and other predator threat in the area. Once we recognized the potential of this breed to be a guardian not only for livestock, but for families and households all over, we knew we needed to get involved. This breed is not only an incredible livestock guardian, but a family one as well.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is special due to its emphasis on breed standards and being good family dogs. We handle them to be around children, other small animals, and to be on their best behavior around the house in general. Also DING DING DING... Delivery! I'll meet you at your closest airport, nationwide! Additionally we donate 10% to the American Heart Association, a charity near and dear to us.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alexis

Alexis has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,150 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Deposit to hold dog of choice, this deposit is non-refundable. Once the deposit is made, travel plans for your puppy are arranged. We will Meet you at your closest airport, Nationwide!”

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Alexis was very knowledgeable about the breed. She was very caring and responsive with her dogs that won us over right away. She would send us pictures and updates on Sage's transition as she was growing, every week she was bigger we felt part of it we saw her being bathed drinking water and being so happy.
