Meet the breeder

I'm Treena M., the breeder behind Four Pines Ranch located in El Cajon, CA. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!

Q. & A. with Treena

  • Why did you start breeding?

German Shepherds have been a part of our family since 1992. They are a wonderful breed and with my husband in the military and gone frequently it was wonderful to have protection. Now that he is retired we bought a lovely 4 acre property in Southern California that gives us the opportunity live out our dream of breeding German Shepherd.
  • What makes your program special?

We choose to stay small, breeding one litter at a time so we can provide the best love and attention that the mother and puppies need and deserve.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black and tan, black and silver, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
