Q. & A. with Karon
Why did you start breeding?
Our involvement with the breed began in the late '80s when my mother and sister were breeding and showing Berners. I think it was inevitable we would follow suit; not because of the family legacy, but because once you have a Berner in your life there is no turning back! After a few years of being mentored by family and successfully showing many Bernese Mountain Dogs, we began our own breeding program.
What makes your program special?
Our program is special because of our dogs. Bernese Mountain Dogs are such a joy, and we find so much fulfillment in raising and preparing them for their loving, forever homes. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, and integrity, and we truly want what's best for the Bernese Mountain Dog line.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
