Meet the breeder

I'm Natali H., the breeder behind Freckle Paw Family located in Idaho Falls, ID. First of all, health and temperament, confirmation, and intelligence, color, and athleticism. We love our dogs and play to their strengths so the next generation is better. We are so proud of our freckle paw puppies!

Q. & A. with Natali

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had Shih Tzu's a year and had to rehome them due to our eldest son's severe allergic reactions to them. I spent the next 5 years researching dog breeds. I knew dogs would be part of our lives but just wasn’t sure how. Along the way, I came to love Poodles. I researched the breeding aspect for years before committing. No allergy issue from my son and a few years in, we love the breeder life.
  • What makes your program special?

We participate in the puppy culture program which gives our puppies the best start. It helps them do well under stress and when encountering new things. The early neurological stimulation they get even makes them much healthier over the course of their lives. We also do DNA, confirmation, temperament, and OFA testing when appropriate. They get lots and lots of love, controlled exposure, and exercise.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Poodle puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Natalie & her family were so fun to work with to find our family's newest member! Our Mr. Rusty came to us healthy, trained to sit and use a potty-pad, chipped, vax'd & ready to wow. 🐕 He got to attend my niece's wedding and nearly upstaged the bride! 👰‍♀ Natali provided us with a customized tote bag; complete with food, treats, toys, lots of information & more. She has also since fielded my nervous-new-mom questions via phone & text. Mr. Rusty has had the very best start in life. He's full of love, trust & fun! I would recommend Natali & Freckle-Paw Family to anyone who wants the very best. Thank you, Natali for all you've done for me & my family!

Natali has trained and loved on Bleuebelle so well. She has also been very helpful in answering my questions as I prepared to be Bleuebelle’s mama; I feel so lucky to have found my sweet and happy pup through Freckle Paw Family!

Everything about our experience with Freckle Paw Poodles has been exceptional. Oscar came to us very well socialized with humans, children, grandma, and our 6 year-old labradoodle, Seamus (Oscar is too young to be out in public). Seamus, on the other hand, is still trying to figure out why we have imposed this wiggle-butt on him and regularly seeks refuge in places Oscar cannot get, at least yet. Oscar came to us crate-trained, as supposedly Seamus was. Oscar does occasionally complain for a minute or so when first put in his crate at night. On the other hand, he’s relaxed and calm in his carrier for rides in the car—not even a minute of complaint. Oscar is quite sincere about using the puppy pad, but his aim is not all that good, but he’s working on it. I got my first dog in 1959 and have regularly had one or two dogs ever since. I would have never considered recommending, or not, a breeder. We have used good, reputable breeders for at least thirty years, but none of them reach the level of professionalism, good will, communication, and competence of Freckle Paw Poodles. I definitely and heartily recommend them.

Natali couldn't have made it easier to get our new puppy all the way to Switzerland! She took care of everything needed for his journey, and Hiccup himself was so calm and well-behaved during his long long trip overseas. Coming to and arriving here at his new home you can see & feel right away how well he has been trained already and how much love he has received from Natali and her family in his first months! He is so sweet even with his new older brother - I could not have wished for a better puppy!

Tommy is such a beautiful and wonderful pup and we were so luck to find Natali. She made everything a breeze and it’s such a relief to feel confident that she did everything possible to ensure he is set up to live a happy and healthy life.
