I'm Ashley F., the breeder behind Freeman's Floppy-Eared Bassets located in Lumberton, MS. We raise European bassets that are DNA cleared with champion bloodlines. Health & temperament conscious breeders. It's important to note that our bassets are pets first and never kenneled. We are not a puppy mill and all litters that we've produced have been raised in home with my family and I.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with a bassets short stature, droopy expressions, & their back & forth waddle at a very young age. All while religiously watching my vhs of "We Sing In Sillyville." Since then, I've always wanted a Barney of my own! My first pet as a young adult was a rescue & my first basset. I was able to love her for a long 15 years. She helped raise all 3 of my kids. I wanted to share that love!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and white and black white and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ashley partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Basset Contract, Limited AKC Registration, Vet Records, Blanket (w/ mom & siblings scent), Multiple Chew Toys, Snacky Snacks, First Leash & Collar, Science Diet Puppy Food, Pee Pads, Collapsible Bowl. Deposit is non-refundable unless something happens to said pup while under my care. In said circumstance, the buyer may choose an available litter mate or I'll be more than happy to issue a refund.”
