I'm Steve P., the breeder behind Frozen Star Kennels located in Fuquay Varina, NC. Bettering the breed, step by step" Breeder's of Merit AKC Registered Grand Champions Breeding championship winning canines since 2007. American Chinese Crested Club Nationals Top 20 showing three years in a row. We breed Chinese Crested, Hairless and Powder Puff.W e built our program with care and intention in every step. We care deeply about the health and wellbeing of this breed. Our breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to the breed while striving to produce puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation. We are proud of our dogs and their puppies, and it is always our goal to preserve and better the breed with each litter.

Why did you start breeding?
Purchased a bitch from an outstanding breed and used his stud to make sure we were breeding properly. Following genetics.What makes your program special?
We raise all our puppies at home. We care about each puppy and keep in contact with the puppies, even when they are adults. We love to see pictures and talk to those involved. We are willing to answer questions, education is important.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Chinese Crested puppies include powderpuff and hairless coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Russian Toy puppies are black and tan. Chinese Crested puppies include brown, white and black, pink and slate, and apricot. Ibizan Hound puppies are red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
