Full Circle Weimaraners

Amy L.

Breeder of Weimaraners

Meet the breeder

I'm Amy L., the breeder behind Full Circle Weimaraners located in Pinedale, WY. Our puppies are evaluated at 7 weeks old using the Volhard Temperament Test to help us match them to the correct family. All of our breeding dogs are hip and DNA tested and are part of our family. We have older started dogs as well as puppies available.

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We started like many hobby breeders do. We wanted to have one litter before we spayed our female and we were very fortunate to have a breeder offer to mentor us in breeding responsibly. Through our mentors and lots of research, we began studying pedigrees, learning about temperaments and conformation, breed specific genetic health issues, training, and nutrition.
  • What makes your program special?

We temperament test our puppies at 7 weeks old to get an idea of their overall personality and prey drive. We like to place our puppies in homes from 4-6 mos of age so that we can better match each family to a puppy that suits their goals and lifestyle.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
