I'm Mary W., the breeder behind FuryHaus German Shepherds located in Dacula, GA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament first and foremost. We believe that health is imperative when breeding dogs as there are so many out there who do not health test. All of our dogs are OFA certified and pass AKC temperament testing. We do ENS and ESI & will do Volhard Temperment tests.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Through my time in the German Shepherd and working dog community, I developed a deep understanding of how different lines influence temperament, drive, and overall character. I found myself consistently drawn to the temperament of the dog that first ignited my passion for the breed, and that became the standard I strive to preserve.

  • What makes your program special?

    I prioritize quality over profit, investing heavily into every breeding to ensure the best outcomes. My goal is to produce true German Shepherds that are stable, capable, and versatile. I want families to experience the same joy I have with this incredible breed, both as companions and working partners.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Mary

Mary has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Mary partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Puppies are matched based on temperament first and foremost. Each litter undergoes Volhard temperament testing, and I take time to understand each family’s goals, lifestyle, and experience level to ensure the best possible fit. Preferences such as gender and, when possible, color are considered, but final placement decisions are made in the best interest of both the puppy and the home.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppy price includes Embark DNA and health testing, Puppy Culture with ENS and ESI, contract and health guarantee, early potty and crate training, plus lifetime access to my training program. Deposits are nonrefundable but may be transferred to a future litter. Refunds are only considered in the event of a true emergency.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
