I'm Mary W., the breeder behind FuryHaus German Shepherds located in Dacula, GA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament first and foremost. We believe that health is imperative when breeding dogs as there are so many out there who do not health test. All of our dogs are OFA certified and pass AKC temperament testing. We do ENS and ESI & will do Volhard Temperment tests.

Why did you start breeding?
After being in the sport and the German Shepherd world for quite some time, I realized that there are different lines that produce different temperaments. I knew that I liked the temperaments of the dog that started it all for me and so I chose to breed them to reproduce the temperament that the German shepherd should be. Thalia is the ideal foundation female with her impeccable temperament.What makes your program special?
I am not in it for the money as a LOT goes into my breedings. I only want the best of the best so that my clients can also get the best. My goal in breeding is to produce exactly what a German Shepherd should be - versatile. I want families to enjoy their GSD as much as I do. They are truly such an amazing breed.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

My deposits are nonrefundable, however we can hold them to another litter. The only time a deposit would be refundable is in case of an emergency.”

Litter update on 30 Nov. 2024 •…Happy 5 weeks to the condiments litter 🎉 Orange and Lime are no longer available. Orange is going to Canada to be a service dog and active pet companion 😊 Lime is going to stay here in our breeding program 😋 We appreciate the abundance of applications and messages and thank you ahead of time for staying patient until we do temperament testing. Pink is likely going to go to my associate and be her sport dog but puppies can change even in a few weeks so we are unsure which female is going to be theirs at this time. Purple is also pretty feisty but also super sweet. I think she’d do great as an active companion but could also go in a sport direction. Last but not least, Red red red; goodness she is so special. Have quite a few amazing homes for her but was hoping she’d stay with someone I personally knew. We shall see!

Litter update on 26 Nov. 2024 •…Happy 4 weeks to the pups 🥹 Everyone is now eating mush and soaked kibble and raw successfully, all have solid stools, been dewormed, explored outside, socialized with my pack, met the baby pigs, heard the dog treadmill, socialized with my step kids and are actively playing/learning pack dynamics! As of right now, no one is for sure placed until we do Volhard temperament testing at 7 weeks; however, if you are wanting one for sure and want priority pick, then you can reach out! About Caesar
Caesar is a stocky well-built male German Shepherd weighing in around 92 lbs and is 26” tall which is the AKC standard. He is embark ‘ata’ which means he is bicolor (tan point) carrying black. He also carries for long coat.

About Kane
Having bred Kane, he is the best of both parents. He is a very goofy boy with a lot of personality. He can be serious when you want and goofy when you need it. He is very versatile and has proven such with being able to compete in bitework sports, dock diving, lure coursing and being an active film dog on set. He is also quite content with his family and stepchildren and just being an active family pet. This boy is quite amazing and I’m not just saying that because he’s mine. I hope that his characteristics imprint on all of the puppies and nothing less!

About Thalia
Beautifully structured big boned female GSD. Black sable long coat carrying black. Thalia is a lover and absolutely loves attention, especially from kids. She is eager willing and versatile. She’s sensitive enough to listen without harsh corrections but tough enough to compete in bitework sports as well. She’s a great family pet and loves living life on the farm. She has great maternal instincts, and I have very high hopes for her as a mother which means she will imprint her docile personality onto her puppies. Thalia is very easy-going and just wants to make you happy.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
