Meet the breeder

I'm Mary W., the breeder behind FuryHaus German Shepherds located in Dacula, GA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament first and foremost. We believe that health is imperative when breeding dogs as there are so many out there who do not health test. All of our dogs are OFA certified and pass AKC temperament testing. We do ENS and ESI & will do Volhard Temperment tests.

Q. & A. with Mary

  • Why did you start breeding?

After being in the sport and the German Shepherd world for quite some time, I realized that there are different lines that produce different temperaments. I knew that I liked the temperaments of the dog that started it all for me and so I chose to breed them to reproduce the temperament that the German shepherd should be. Thalia is the ideal foundation female with her impeccable temperament.
  • What makes your program special?

I am not in it for the money as a LOT goes into my breedings. I only want the best of the best so that my clients can also get the best. My goal in breeding is to produce exactly what a German Shepherd should be - versatile. I want families to enjoy their GSD as much as I do. They are truly such an amazing breed.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include plush, long, and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable, black, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
