Meet the breeder

I'm Bobbie K., the breeder behind German Shepherd Haus located in Sequim, WA. I'm the breeder behind German Shepherd Haus located in Sequim, Washington . We raise unique quality long coat German Shepherds focused on exceptional temperaments, health, and conformation to ensure versatility. We strive to retain, preserve and reproduce the original standard style of the GSD including correct straight toplines, large bone and sound minds. We Pennhip or OFA certify the elbows and hips as well as full Embark panels for dogs in our breeding program to ensure optimal longevity. Our puppies are family raised in our home around horses, and other dogs. They are well socialized and respectful with early neurological stimulation (ENS) and Vonhollard's temperment score provided at appropriate age. Puppies are current on age appropriate vaccinations and dewormer as well as microchipped. They all go home with an individual health exam. We offer AKC limited registration (pet only) with all our puppies. We occasionally offer AKC full registration (breeding rights) from our program as well to approved applicants. We hope to welcome you to the German Shepherd Haus family 💖🐺🐾.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

We love our new pup. She is super friendly and smart. Bobbie was a pleasure to work with and I hope when we look for our next pup she'll still be breeding.

Bobbie was very responsive and flexible. She cares greatly about her puppies and where they end up. She was honest and up front about my puppy’s hernia. I really appreciated that honesty. She set us up for success when we went to pick up our puppy. I was very happy with the overall experience.

Bobbie made this whole experience easy and downright pleasant! She was responsive and very helpful with the whole online platform, and very open about what to expect from a GSD puppy. She was way more patient with my dumb questions than I'd expect anyone to be. When we picked up our puppy, she was so warm and welcoming that I felt like I was meeting a friend. This wasn't just a business transaction to her--it's obvious that she cares about her pups and the homes they go to. She sets her puppy-people up for success from the start. She not only answered all our questions, she gave us information we didn't even know we should be asking for. Her dogs are gorgeous, and very tuned in to her, showing that she takes the time to give them great care and that she also cares about them deeply. Bobbie took the time to show us how to start our puppy training, literally step by step. Chance has already learned to come, to sit and to "wait", and I'm sure it's thanks to the tips she gave us. I can't recommend Bobbie enough. She was kind, compassionate and knowledgeable--everything a puppy seeker could ask for.

If you're looking for the BEST German Shepherd breeder out there, look no further than Bobbie! From start to finish, Bobbie has been an absolute dream to work with. Her knowledge, kindness, and dedication to her dogs are unmatched. I had the pleasure of bringing home my forever best friend, Athena (formally known as Donatella), and I can honestly say that I couldn't have asked for a more perfect companion. Bobbie has been with me every step of the way, keeping me updated on Athena's progress, answering all my questions, and sharing the sweetest pictures and videos of my girl as she grew. It was such a joy to see how much Bobbie cares about each puppy she raises and how connected she stays with their new families. Athena is a healthy, loving, smart, and well-adjusted puppy, and I know that’s thanks to the love and care Bobbie pours into every pup she breeds. It’s clear she isn’t just breeding dogs—she’s nurturing lifelong bonds. Bobbie’s professionalism and warmth made this experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a German Shepherd that comes from a place of love, trust me, Bobbie is the one to go with.
