I'm Dylan W., the breeder behind German Shepherd Von An Der Rott located in White Wright, TX.
Q. & A. with Dylan
Why did you start breeding?
As mentioned in the About me section, it has been in our family for many generations. We continued the legacy. The best part of breeding for us is providing dogs that excel in service industry. Most of the time that is a service dog but sometimes it is nose work.
What makes your program special?
Besides our history in the breed. We are set aside because we breed for quality but temperament as well. We have a great program where we test and carefully select dogs for roles people are looking for. This starts when they are just 3 days old. Most important all our dogs are in doors- yes all six dogs live in doors. We stay on a very small scale and breed selectively quality over quantity.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include plush, stock, and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
