Meet the breeder

I'm Abigail K., the breeder behind German Shepherds Von Washington located in Bonney Lake, WA. At German Shepherds Von Washington, we believe a truly exceptional dog is never the result of chance. Intentionally raising German Shepherds of exceptional loyalty, intelligence, and heart; best friends, protectors, and loyal shadows. When a puppy leaves our care, the torch is handed forward.

Q. & A. with Abigail

  • Why did you start breeding?

After getting our first male named Scout, we decided to add another protective and loyal guardian to the family, our first female Bell, joined the pack. The rest is history. We welcomed our first litter with great excitement, thrilled by the joy each puppy brought to their new families. As I sit writing, little pink princess girl is on my lap, helping me write while her siblings sleep nearby.
  • What makes your program special?

From their first days of life, our puppies are raised within the cadence of daily life, surrounded by voices, touch, movement, and human connection. They are held, spoken to, observed, and gently guided through the earliest stages of learning. This is where the foundation is quietly built. Confidence. Trust. Connection. A deep instinct to bond with their person. Not casually, but completely.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include stock and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and tan and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Abigail

Abigail has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Abigail partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Not everyone is meant for a dog like this and not every home is meant for one of our puppies. Families interested in joining the German Shepherds Von Washington circle begin by completing a Puppy Adoption Application. This allows us to understand the life you live, the environment you provide, and the kind of partnership you seek with your dog. From there, we schedule a personal phone conversation. This is where we learn more about you and where you learn more about the philosophy behind the dogs we raise. If the alignment is right, families are then invited to visit in person, meet the puppies, and experience the environment where their earliest development takes place. ”

Price

Puppy prices include between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our puppies are purebred, AKC-registered litters. Each pup will be sent home with a new pup care package, transition food, dewormed, and their first round of vaccines.”

Contract & health guarantee

Abigail may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Abigail offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Abigail directly.
