I'm Margaret B., the breeder behind Gertie’s Goldendoodles located in Indianapolis, IN. Margaret Bridges has been training dogs professionally for 15 years, and owns Purpose Driven K9 Dog Training in Indianapolis, IN and Good Sniffs K9 Behavior Education. She is a Professional Member and Ambassador for the International Association of Canine Professionals.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Margaret's passion for Goldendoodles began as a professional dog trainer, training doodles of all shapes and sizes. She was hooked and has been passionate about raising excellent Goldendoodle Puppies ever since.
  • What makes your program special?

    If you are looking for a puppy to fit your needs, raised by a Dog Behavior Expert, look no further! Puppies are handled daily, and exposed to new environments, surfaces, textures, objects, people, and dogs. Puppies are temperament tested at 7 weeks of age and thoughtfully placed with their forever families.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Margaret

Margaret has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Margaret partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“At 7 weeks of age, puppies are tested with our detailed Avidog APET Temperament test. Scores are reviewed with the buyer in order of deposits received. Puppies are then selected with options in person or via zoom. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
