I'm Michaela R., the breeder behind Glacier Malamutes located in Kalispell, MT. We are a veteran owned, small time Alaskan Malamute breeder. We breed for intelligence and temperament and are passionate about preserving the best qualities in our puppies. All adults in our program are OFA hip/elbow certified and Embark tested. Our malamutes are part of our family. Puppies are born in home and handled/loved on daily.

    Our puppies include gray and white, sable and white, black and white, agouti and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michaela

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
