Stephanie L.

Breeder of German Shepherds

Meet the breeder

I'm Stephanie L., the breeder behind Glaurung Kennel located in New Boston, MI. I breed to the SV standard that includes health testing and working titles. My dogs live in my home as valued members of my family.

Q. & A. with Stephanie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I trained and competed for over 25 years, and I decided to try it after I had a dog that I loved working and was fully titled and health tested.
  • What makes your program special?

My number one goal is great, solid temperaments that can work as well as be active pets. I do my best to produce that while doing extensive health testing and training and titling my own dogs before breeding. I try to be as ethical as I can.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
