I'm Andy U., the breeder behind Gold Country mini doodles located in Burley, ID. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! All of our breeding dogs DNA tested for any genetic issues and we offer a 2 year health guarantee with all of our puppies. We do Early Neurological Stimulation training with the puppies to help prepare them for life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Back in 2020 I was diagnosed with stage 3c rectal cancer , Once I started treatment I wasn’t able to work anymore. I was the sole provider for our finances, It wasn't long before our money was gone. We had to sell our house or lose it. My wife and I talked about what to do to get by if something happened to me. While I was receiving treatment we got a mini labradoodle , we love Kimber she is a great dog but we noticed she shed more then we liked. We still have her and she is my girl. But we found out about F1b mini golden doodles that don't shed. So we invested in 2 of them 3800 for our stud and 2500 for our female. It seemed crazy to me at the time because you have to wait approximately 2 years before you can breed them. So 2 years living with these dogs showed me the lovers they are.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our program is very important to us because we love all our dogs very much, it seems like they are crazy expensive but for what you get in return it's priceless. My wife is a self taught groomer because we have 6 mini golden doodles in our house and they do require frequent upkeep.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Andy

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes- Dewormer, first set of shots, vet health checks, fecal parasite checks from vet, rear dewclaw removal, and microchips. Once deposit is taken we stop marketing your puppy, you can come and meet the puppies before the take home date to assure your choice.”
