Getting a puppy from Shauna

Shauna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Shauna partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“DACHSHUND PUPPY MATCHING POLICY Our goal is to create the best possible match between each puppy and their future home. While buyers are welcome to share preferences regarding gender, color, coat type, personality traits, or markings, final puppy placement decisions are made by the breeder. Because puppies develop and change as they grow, temperament evaluations are ongoing throughout the raising process. We carefully observe confidence levels, energy, social behavior, drive, structure, and overall personality to help ensure each puppy is placed in the environment where they are most likely to thrive. Puppy selections are typically made in reservation order once puppies are old enough for accurate temperament and developmental evaluations. Please understand: • Specific markings, coat shades, eye color, ear set, size, or future appearance cannot be guaranteed. • Breeder reserves the right to retain any puppy for the breeding program at any time. • Breeder reserves the right to deny or redirect placement if a puppy is not believed to be the right fit for a particular home. • Temperament and lifestyle compatibility will take priority over cosmetic preferences whenever necessary. • Buyers who choose to pass on an offered puppy may transfer to another available puppy or future litter according to breeder policy. Our puppies are raised with extensive hands-on care, socialization, and developmental observation. This matching process is designed to support long-term success for both the puppy and the family receiving them. By placing a deposit, the buyer acknowledges and agrees to this puppy matching policy.”

Shauna was amazing! And I loved the fact I had the option of how to receive my Basset “Rain”. She was delivered right to my door! “Rain” is a well rounded pup, as Shauna socializes her puppies, deworms, vaccinates, and sends information about training, what food she has been feeding and insurance information. And of course, complete veterinary records. I had additional questions after having “Rain” a week or so, and she was very helpful and responded quickly. I have nothing but gratitude and respect for her and Golden Acres D & B. Also I want to thank Krista for her service of delivering “Rain” to me. She was absolutely wonderful and kept me in the loop during her travels to my home. Thank you ladies!

Our little puppy is doing great! She is growing, playing, chewing :( ! And is just adorable and loving. She is learning her new name, Greta, and is progressing with potty training. We love her, and Shauna was wonderful to work with through the whole adoption process. Thank you!!

We had such a great experience getting our puppy from Shauna! From the very beginning, she was incredibly friendly, informative, and easy to communicate with. She kept us updated throughout the entire process and was always happy to answer any questions we had. You can really tell how much time and care she puts into raising her puppies. Our puppy came home happy, confident, and incredibly well adapted. She settled into our home and routine so quickly, and it was clear she had already been well socialized and cared for. Shauna made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and we felt completely comfortable knowing our puppy came from someone who genuinely cares about her dogs. We couldn't be happier with our new addition and would absolutely recommend Shauna to anyone looking for a puppy!

We had a great experience with Shauna. She was easy to work with, communicated well. Copper is healthy, happy, and has an amazing temperament. We couldn't be happier with our experience. Copper is settling into our family wonderfully and has already brought so much joy to our home. Our older Coonhound Huckleberry has really taken on the role of big brother, and the two of them absolutely love playing together. It's been so heartwarming to watch their bond grow over the past couple of days. Copper is such a sweet, happy puppy, and we couldn't be more pleased with how well he's adjusting. Thank you again for entrusting him to our family. We are already head over heels in love with him!
