I'm Shelley R., the breeder behind Golden Hearted Goldendoodles located in Desert Hot Springs, CA. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    USA My children got into 4H in Colorado and we had land. Our neighbors raised golden retrievers , labodores and standard poodles. They were breeding service and therapy dogs. I've always had a great love for all animals, especially dogs and children. So I started learning and my children started learning everything we could about breeding these wonderful breeds that made such a big and wonderful difference for all ages of people with different handicaps. One thing led to another. It was wonderful. Well my kids grew up and went on to do won wonderful things!. I decided to call my friend in Colorado to see if she was still breeding for a beautiful dogs. She was was but now she was also breeding Goldendoodles. We talked for hours. I got off the phone a started doing all my researching. I called my friend back up and asked if I could come out to the ranch and hang out with her Goldendoodles. And of course the of her pack. I fell so in love with this breed I brought home 3 females with me and never looked back. I love these most tender kind hearted loyal and intelligent dog/ best friends / family members I could ever ask for. Know I just share the love and joy with other family's of all kinds. Some of our puppies are companions, therapy and service dogs. They also are some of the best family dogs you could ever ask for 💛

  • What makes your program special?

    The love I give them from the second they are born 💛❤️. I do puppy curriculum. Ens Early neurological stimulation. Which their autoimmune system and their cardiovascular. I do sound,smell and different textures which stimulates the brains. I do temperament testing. I do embark genetic testing on all my adults to make sure that they are clear of any genetic health issues. But sharing my heart with them is so amazing ❤️💛

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and -$500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I got really spoked by all the scammers on social media so the Good Dog was the perfect answer. Shelley was so helpful and communicative . Her welcome packet was complete with everything I needed. My pup was already comfortable in his crate, which I appreciated as I wanted him to have a safe place. We only had a few accidents with potty training as he adapted to his new surroundings. My Captain Jack Sparrow ( he has an eye patch) is the perfect dog for me as I lead an active life and he is so adaptable and good natured. I am forever grateful to Golden Hearted Goldendoodles for this special fur baby. I love him with all my heart!
