Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Golden State Pomskies located in Antioch, CA. We put thought and love into each litter. Our breeding dogs live in our home and are a huge part of our daily lives. It’s our goal to produce the absolute best Pomskies in health, temperament, and appearance. We DNA/Health test all our dogs through Embark, and OFA test hips/elbows/patella's.

Q. & A. with Rachel

  • Why did you start breeding?

After being a long time Pomeranian owner, I was seeking a slightly larger family dog. I bought my first Pomsky and was instantly hooked! I wanted to share this incredible breed with others. I began researching, educating myself and networking. I met an incredible mentor and all the pieces began to come together. My family fell in love too and agreed to guardian some of my dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are family. A piece of my heart leaves with each puppy. I enjoy answering questions and educating buyers, even when they aren’t ready to purchase. I’m selective when choosing dogs and pairings to improve the breed. I’m always open to learning and improving our program.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, black, black and white, chocolate, merle, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
