Q. & A. with Kat
Why did you start breeding?
I started Breeding Golden Retrievers in 1998, and while they are amazing dogs, the shedding became a major issue, So we switched over to Golden doodles, you get the temperament of the golden, and low shedding of the poodle and the intelligence level of both. They are super smart, easy to train and great with kids.
What makes your program special?
We take great pride in our breeding program, making sure our breeding dogs are healthy, eating right, genetically cleared, DNA tested and vet checked on a regular basis. Several of our breeding dogs are also therapy dogs so they have a mild loving temperament.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
