I'm Stephanie D., the breeder behind Grace Ridge Shepherds and Corgis located in North Carolina. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Stephanie
Why did you start breeding?
Well you see that boy in the picture with me! That is Uncle Hugo, our very first LC German Shepherd that we rescued from the shelter. The connection he had with my kid the first time they met told me deep down he was the one! We fell in love with the breed and the rest is history! Then a couple years ago my oldest begged for a Corgi and why not, more love to go around!
What makes your program special?
Our breeders are not just breeder dogs, they are our pets! They live, eat and sleep in our home with us and we wouldn't have it any other way. My dogs are my children and my knowledge of these breeds come from years of experience and research!
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
German Shepherd puppies include plush and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our American Corgi puppies include black and white, brindle and white, and black and tan. German Shepherd puppies include black and tan and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
