I'm Caty M., the breeder behind Graceful Connections Breeding located in Houston, TX. Attitude is everything! My top priority with my Kees is temperament. I work with my puppies daily to ensure they are desensitized to everyday activities, and begin potty training. I am very passionate about the breed and hope to help better the bloodlines for the future.

Why did you start breeding?
While taking care of many different breeds, I absolutely fell in love with Keeshonden. I fell in love with one puppy in particular and just had to have her. Now I am completely obsessed with the breed, and want to be surrounded by them. I want to introduce more people to the breed and connect them with their Keeshond soul dogs.What makes your program special?
I care more about my dogs than anything or anyone else. My dogs come before me. They live in my home and sleep in my bed. I do not breed for profit, therefore I don’t often have puppies available. I also offer a lifetime guarantee on returning your floof. If you can no longer care for them at any point in their life, I will take them back. They are NOT to be rehomed without my knowledge.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“Matching depends on gender preference/availability as well as show quality puppies. First pick (excluding any puppies held back) goes to those seeking to show their Keeshond in conformation or compete in other events. After they have chosen, pet choices go in order of deposits received. ”

“Also included are their first checkups, 6 and 8-week shots, and preventative deworming. This does NOT include any needed transportation related costs. A deposit is required to reserve a puppy.”

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Primary Hyperparathyroidism (PHPT)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
