Q. & A. with Chuck & Dawn
Why did you start breeding?
After we had Sadie and saw what a wonderful, loving dog she is, we just wanted to help others find a perfect dog. We talked to our breeder we got her and Lizzie from and she has mentored us. We have had 11 successful Litters and all our families LOVE their puppies!
What makes your program special?
First of all, our Dogs make our program special! They are wonderful, loving, sweet, obedient and beautiful. After our dogs is, the time and effort we put into our program. We do Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) Program starting Day 3-17. We also expose them to different sensory experiences. We have them about 80% potty trained before going home and we expose them to crate training. We make sure they are well socialized. We have lots of adults and children come and hold them, play with them and give them love.
Our puppies go home microchipped and a puppy bag with a blanket with mama scent, food for 5 days and a folder with vet health check.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, black, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

I have always wanted to have a dog and never had one growing up. I would always tell my husband that is the first thing we have to do when we get married. We got married three months ago and I wouldn’t stop nagging him. Today he told me we had plans and I was confused as to why we were going to the airport. And then I saw Chuck across the street and the cutest thing in a carrier next to him and I just knew. We automatically clicked and I am completely in love with her. She’s the perfect addition to our family. Thank you for everything!

I enjoyed every aspect of my adoption process with Chuck & Dawn! They made me feel comfortable by providing access to a puppy cam! They were knowledgably and professional. They made my empty nest transition so much more pleasant! I will definitely go back to them when I want a sister for Karma!

Chuck and Dawn were very easy to deal with. They responded quickly and were helpful with each step. They had a puppy cam available to watch the litter thru the weeks before I could pick up my new girl.

Chuck & Dawn were incredible. The moment I met them (and their dogs Maui, Lizzie, Zachary, and Sadie!) I knew we chose the right breeders. During the waiting period I felt at ease knowing our Tala (previously Lola) was being well taken care of. They kept me updated with photos, her weight, and how she was doing with sensory training. Her first night home, she slept in her crate all night (with potty breaks of course) and has had no potty accidents so far! She’s such a sweet girl and we’ll forever be grateful to Chuck and Dawn.
