Meet the breeder

I'm Dineen G., the breeder behind Graystone Doodles located in Knoxville, TN. Pups are in my home at all times exposed to our everyday life. I use ESI and ENS to give pups the best possible start for a life of companionship and love-ending w/ an easy transition for the puppy at 8 weeks. Puppy matching avl through temperance testing. Crate & potty training starts at 3 weeks.

Q. & A. with Dineen

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our first goldendoodle— Bentley—We fell in love with him. Everything about the breed was so perfect. Bentley is smart, loving, and became a big part of our family. After 5 years I had dreamed of breeding, and I finally moved forward!
  • What makes your program special?

My puppies are part of my family. Every litter is born and raised in my home, not in the garage or in a kennel outside. Everyday they are handled and played with by me, my husband and kids. We breed responsibly and ALWAYS put our puppies best interest first. We do genetic testing, and are pending OFA testing. BAB curriculum is incorporated- ESI and temperament testing. I can tell you everything about each pup because I personally am around them all day long! I love matching the right pup with the right family. Our first litter turned out to be a huge success! All healthy and beautiful and my waitlist quickly formed for next litter.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Dineen

Dineen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Dineen partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“I have a file with each customer’s information—from phone interview I take notes so i know what each is looking for a in a puppy. For example, would never match an high energy pup with someone who is not outside and active in their daily lives. I have pups in my home and have plenty of time to assess them and watch them. 6-7 weeks seems like when you can tell the most about their temperament. ”

My new puppy Goldendoodle was bred at Dineen Gray's home, and I adopted her at 8 weeks old. Dineen did a great job raising Ivy and she is a sweet, smart puppy. Dineen started calling her Ivy at 4 weeks old, since that is the name I wanted. Dineen lives about 1 hour drive from me, but she brought little Ivy to a meeting place very close to me. Dineen and I stayed in touch during the few weeks before I got little Ivy, and was always there when I had questions. I f you're looking for a Goldendoodle or perhaps a different Doodle, I recommend finding your new friend with Dineen at Graystone Doodles.

Looking for a breeder felt pretty overwhelming at first. It was a lot to sift through online reviews for the few places that popped up in a search for my area, and I still wasn’t sure if any of them were trustworthy. Then I stumbled upon Good Dog and their approved breeders. Dineen G turned out to be the perfect fit. She seems to truly care about the health and happiness of all the puppies she raises, and she was very friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive to questions. She checked in periodically with updates and pictures of the pups until they were ready to go home. The whole process was very smooth and simple, and she made sure we had settled in with our new puppy and answered any questions that came up. Our little guy is so sweet and energetic and we’re so glad we found Dineen on Good Dog. I would definitely recommend her!

I can’t recommend Graystone Doodles highly enough! We brought home our puppy, Knox, from Dineen, and he immediately fit into our family as if he’d always been here. My daughter adores carrying him around and snuggling him, and he has a dog brother with whom he plays all day and snuggles with at night. Knox may be small, but he’s full of energy and personality! He’s doing exceptionally well with potty training, loves to relax in his crate, responds to commands, and walks beautifully on a leash. It’s clear that Graystone Doodles truly cares for their animals, and we are so grateful for our wonderful puppy! I wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Dineen for another pup but the two we currently have are plenty. lol
