Meet the breeder

I'm Heather F., the breeder behind Great Basin BMD located in Wyoming. We are a small in-home breeder and love what we do! All of our puppies have been exposed to children and other pets. They are loved on continually and have the best temperaments.

Our puppy came home healthy, energetic, and incredibly well-adjusted. It’s clear they put a lot of time into early care, socialization, and proper nutrition. They were also very transparent throughout the process, answering all of our questions and providing helpful guidance even after we brought our puppy home. The travel nanny experience was better than we could imagine! They were able to drop him off based on our needs. It’s such a relief to find someone who prioritizes the well-being of their dogs over anything else. We couldn’t be happier with our new family member and highly recommend this breeder to anyone looking for a healthy, happy puppy.

Heather was so responsive and great throughout the whole process of us getting our little Rue. I had never bought a puppy from a breeder so far away and had no idea they did things like flight nanny until Heather called me over the phone and had a one on one conversation about how she makes sure we are getting a healthy, happy puppy delivered by herself/family instead of some random person neither of us know. Made me feel a lot less stressed about potentially getting scammed or having something wrong during Rue’s travel from Wyoming to Idaho. Rue herself is one of the happiest go lucky dogs I have ever met. She truly is a sweetheart and the cutest thing my husband and I could have asked for. I think Heather does not over exaggerate when she says she raises some of the best Golden Mountain dog puppies. I would highly recommend her if you are looking to add a fur baby in your life!
